Terms of Use

1. Overview

These Terms of Use govern your use of PaidSoon, an Android app published by Flovanta. PaidSoon helps users keep track of unpaid invoices, contacts, due dates, overdue amounts, and manual payment follow-ups.

By downloading, installing, or using PaidSoon, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

When these terms say "we," "us," or "our," they refer to Flovanta. When they say "you" or "your," they refer to the person using PaidSoon.

2. Who may use PaidSoon

PaidSoon is intended for adults who manage their own work, business, invoices, receivables, or payment follow-ups. You should only use PaidSoon if you are legally able to manage the information you enter into the app and to contact the people or organisations you add.

PaidSoon is not intended for children. You must not use the app if you are under the age required to use business or productivity apps in your country or region.

3. Local-first use and your responsibility

PaidSoon is designed as a local-first app. The information you enter is stored on your device unless Android, your device manufacturer, or your own settings provide separate backup or restore functionality.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the information you enter into PaidSoon, including contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, invoice amounts, due dates, statuses, notes, and reminder preferences.

You are also responsible for maintaining access to your device and for protecting it with appropriate security measures, such as screen lock, device encryption, and software updates.

4. No accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice

PaidSoon is a simple payment tracking and reminder-assistance tool. It is not accounting software, tax software, legal software, banking software, lending software, or a payment processing service.

PaidSoon does not:

• Create legally compliant invoices
• Process payments or transfer money
• Connect to bank accounts or payment processors
• Offer credit, loans, debt collection services, or financial products
• Provide legal, accounting, tax, or financial advice
• Replace a qualified professional advisor

You should consult an appropriate professional if you need accounting, tax, legal, financial, or debt collection advice.

5. Reminder assistance and external apps

PaidSoon may help you prepare reminder messages based on information you enter. When you choose to follow up, PaidSoon may open an external app on your device, such as your email app, SMS app, WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, or browser.

You are responsible for reviewing every message before sending it. PaidSoon does not send reminders automatically and does not guarantee that any message will be delivered, received, read, or acted on.

You must ensure that any follow-up message you send complies with applicable laws, contractual obligations, privacy rules, anti-spam rules, communications rules, platform terms, and professional standards.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PaidSoon to:

• Harass, threaten, deceive, spam, or pressure anyone
• Send unlawful, abusive, misleading, or discriminatory messages
• Track debts, invoices, or people in a way that violates applicable law
• Enter information you do not have permission to store or use
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app
• Use the app for regulated debt collection activity without proper authority

We may update, restrict, or discontinue features if we believe they create legal, security, platform, or user-safety risk.

7. Links to Flovanta and third-party services

PaidSoon may include links to Flovanta websites, including the main Flovanta SaaS website, support pages, privacy pages, or terms pages. PaidSoon may also open third-party apps and services installed on your device.

Third-party apps and services are controlled by their own providers and governed by their own terms and policies. Flovanta is not responsible for how those external apps operate, whether they are available, or how they handle information after you choose to use them.

8. Availability and changes

PaidSoon is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time.

We do not guarantee that PaidSoon will always be available, error-free, compatible with every device, or suitable for every workflow or jurisdiction.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flovanta is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, goodwill, or expected payments arising from your use of PaidSoon.

You remain responsible for your business decisions, payment follow-ups, communications, record keeping, and compliance obligations.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Stopping use of PaidSoon

You may stop using PaidSoon at any time. You can delete app data from within the app where available, or uninstall the app from your device. Uninstalling the app may remove locally stored data, depending on your Android settings and backup configuration.

We may stop supporting or distributing PaidSoon if required for legal, platform, security, operational, or business reasons.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the "Last updated" date above or provide notice through the app, website, or Google Play listing.

Your continued use of PaidSoon after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
